Rainbowave – Vincent Schambacher

This installation changes the perception of ordinary glass by changing its texture and color. Usually transparent, static and rigid, the window becomes, thanks to an opacifying sticker, the theater of undulating surfaces, whose colors evolve subtly and slowly. These effects of lines and colors change the intrinsic qualities of the material to give it an unprecedented movement and chromatic range. “Rainbowave” can be contemplated like an ephemeral rainbow or a sunset.
